Kining unom (6) ka mga awardees naga gikan sa MEZ I, mao ang mosonud:

Feeder Apparel Corporation- Fit Printing; On Semiconductor Cebu Philippines, Inc; Mactan Apparels Incorporated; Metro Wear Incorporated; ug TMX Philippines Incorporated.

Samtang sa MEZ II, naka dawat sa Safety Seal Certificates ang Delfingen PH-Filipinas Incorporated; Lear Philippines Engineering Branch; ug Matluster Corporation.

Ang ubang awardees gikan sa Cebu Light Industrial Park (CLIP), naglakip sa : Duck-Il Korea Incorporated; Global Wear Manufacturing Incorporated; Teradyne Philippines Ltd; ug Vertex One Apparel Philippines Incorporated.

"The PEZA-MEZ is the first export processing zone in the entire country to receive the Safety Seal Certificates this many. This is a good start for the collaboration of DOLE and PEZA and we are looking forward to transforming the whole zone into a safer place, whereby all its locators will finally institutionalize the adoption and implementation of the government's Safety Seal Program," matod ni DOLE-7 Regional Director Salome O. Siaton.

" Having been issued with a Safety Seal Certificate is demonstration of the companies' compliance with the rules and regulations set forth by the government. And the certificate, itself, is a marketing tool which will help gain the thrust of foreign investors. It will also tell the workers and all stakeholders that it's safe to visit and work in and transact with these companies." dugang ni Siaton.
