Tagaytay is a Philippine town situated on the top of a mountain overlooking Lake Taal, a volcanic lake that has another volcano situated in its middle.

As I said in another post, there is some sort of Lake Taal around 60 km North of Rome, Italy, called Lago di Vico where, every now and then, my family and an army of Filipino friends go to enjoy some cool air (it's very hot in Rome in this part of the year) and some masarap na kwentuan at pagkain.

And, because here in Rome we've got pretty much everything Filipino migrants need, like large shopping malls, KFC restaurants, a Jollibee restaurant and piazza Manila (Manila Square), where the Italian version of Luneta Park and a rebulto of José Rizal can be found, not only do we have our own version of Lake Taal but we also have a place situated on the top of a mountain overlooking the lake that offers a Tagaytay-like view.
