The vaccine against COVID-19 is now within reach in Biñan city, after its city government launched the 'vax-on-wheels', which is a mobile vaccination clinic for residents who want to get vaccinated but are far from designated vaccination sites.
It is a part of the Biñan city government's comprehensive campaign to speed up the city's vaccination program.
According to the Biñan City Information Office, the program is intended by the city government for senior citizens and persons with disabilities who have difficulty accessing vaccination sites.
The mobile vaccination clinic will also prevent the possibility of infection because some residents will no longer have to go to vaccination sites to get vaccinated.
The 'vax-on-wheels' first took place in Barangay Loma on July 23, where Mayor Arman Dimaguila personally went to witness the vaccination of senior citizens.
