A week-long trade fair was opened last Monday by the city government of General Santos, for the local micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), as a promotion of different products.

Named "Locally Sourced at Robinsons Malls: A Gardening and Local Produce Fair," it will be open until July 19 at the Robinsons mall atrium. Gen San mayor Ronnel Rivera said that it is aimed not just for MSMEs to withstand the effects of the pandemic, but to also encourage buyers to patronize local products.

In partnership with Robinsons Malls as their venue to show the various local , quality producs from throughout the city.

Dubbed "Locally Sourced at Robinsons Malls: A Gardening and Local Produce Fair," he said they partnered with the Robinsons Malls to gather and showcase quality products from parts of the city.

The Department of Agriculture-Region 12, through the flagship "Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita" direct marketing program supported the said fair.

Mayor Rivera also said that through the initiative, it will be easier for entrepreneurs to sell their products, and consumers to find what they need to buy.

Showcased on the bazaar are fresh vegetables and fruits, plants, dairy products, organic food,seeds and gardening tools/items.
