Siller attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, USA. He was an assistant professional at the St. Ives Country Club in Johns Creek, Georgia, where he spent a large portion of his professional golf career.

Just before 2:30 p.m. on July 3, 2021, he was working at the Pinetree Country Club when he was fatally shot by an unknown suspect. He died at the age of 41.
