QUEZON CITY -- The Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT), Philippine Inter-Agency Council Against Child Pornography, the Child Rights Network (CRN) Philippines, Stairway Foundation and Facebook Philippines launched a public safety campaign to raise awareness on online child safety.

Facebook Philippines produced a 1-minute social media video about what Netizens can do if they see child sexual abuse images or videos online.

Liking, commenting or sharing content, whether in anger or as a warning, causes more harm to the child.

The child rights group from private and public sector advised Netizens to help a child by reporting it to 1343 or #163. They can also report it at https://www.facebook.com/safety/onlinechildprotection. (MTQ/PIA-IDPD with information from Facebook Philippines)
