Newly appointed special pres'l envoy BTS, to speak at 75th UNG

"Special Presidential Envoy for Future Generations and Culture,"South Korean President Moon Jae-in has appointed BTS Special Presidential Envoy for Future Generations and Culture.

 According to the Office of the President's Twitter account, the move is in line with Moon's "global agenda for future generations, including sustainable growth."

In their new capacity, members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook has to attend major international conferences such as 75th UN General Assembly slated for September,2021.

The group will offer messages of comfort and hope to young people around the world and participate in various activities to "promote international cooperation to solve global issues such as environment, poverty, inequality improvement, and respect for diversity."

BTS gave their first UN speech in 2018, and then again in 2020.

They have also been behind  ongoing campaign "Love Myself" with UNICEF, which aims to end "violence toward children and teens around the world,
with  hope of making  world a better place through music."

In recent years, the South Korean superstars have been making waves around the globe with songs such as "Dynamite," "Life Goes On," "Butter," and "Permission to Dance."
