Edward Cagney Mathews, 45, of Mount Laurel, Burlington County, New Jersey, United States has been arrested. He was charged with bias intimidation and harassment.
Mathews is accused of continually harassing a female neighbor. He will face an additional charge after the release of footage that shows him spitting on her.
A video of Mathews shouting racial slurs at his neighbors went viral. When he was arrested at him home on July 5, 2021, more than 100 people protested outside.
