The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) -Quezon City, together with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) led free livelihood and skills training recently for persons deprived of liberty (PDL) at Camp Caringan Female Dormitory.

The free training was in solidarity with the Nutrition Month celebration, which taught the making of nutritious meals such as egg, "malunggay" noodle and banana heart patty.

Among the ingredients used was the organic "malunggay" product of the PRLEC NCR project, the Urban Community Garden in Brgy. New Hope.

According to the TESDA NCR, the purpose of the program is to promote the use of nutritious ingredients in cooking. Also, encourage our countrymen to grow vegetables.
