  8. On January 15, 2020, he conducted surveillance at a university in Ohio and searched online for topics including "planning a shooting crime" and "when does preparing for a crime become an attempt?
  9. On July 21, 2021, Federal Bureau of Investigation agents arrested him and charged him with one count of attempting to commit a hate crime and one count of illegally possessing a machinegun.
  10. He was 21 years old when he was arrested on July 21, 2021.
