Miss New York USA 2020 Andreia Gibau, 25, of SoHo, New York, United States will crown her successor at the Resorts World Catskills in Monticello, New York on August 20, 2021. It will be the 70th edition of the state-level beauty pageant that selects New York's candidate for Miss USA, which selects the Miss Universe candidate of the U.S.

Currently, New York has 37 Miss USA placements including the wins of Jackie Loughery in 1952, Mary Therese Friel in 1979 and Kimberly Pressler in 1999. In 2020, Gibau finished in the Top 10.
There are 167 women competing for the Miss New York USA 2021 title. If facial beauty is the only criterion, these will be my Top 21 candidates:
