Balint Kopasz is a sprint canoeist from Hungary. Aside from canoeing, he also enjoys mountain hiking and gem collecting.

Born in Szeged, Hungary, Kopasz went to Dugonics András Piarista Gimnázium in Szeged. He lives in Algyo, Csongrad County, Hungary.

Both of Kopasz's parents are kayak racers. His mother Irén Demeter became his canoeing coach.

  13. He was 24 years old when he represented Hungary at the 2020 Summer Olympics, which took place in Tokyo, Japan from July 23, 2021 to August 8, 2021. On August 3, 2021, he won gold in men's K-1 1000-meter canoeing event while his teammate Adam Varga won silver.
