Toni-Ann Singh, 25, of Jamaica was crowned Miss World 2019 at the ExCeL London in London, England, United Kingdom on December 14, 2019. Ophély Mézino, 22, of France and Suman Rao, 22, of India are the respective first and second princess while Elis Miele, 22, of Brazil and Nyekachi Douglas, 23, of Nigeria finished in the Top 5.

In 2020, Singh was not able to crown her successor due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This makes her the Miss World with the longest reign.

Singh's reign will end on December 16, 2021 when she crowns Miss World 2021 at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Meanwhile, these are the confirmed Miss World 2022 candidates:
