During an exchange of gunfire, he allegedly fatally shot French in the head and shot her partner three times. He was also shot twice.

  9. At around 10:00 a.m. on August 10, 2021, his mother caused a disturbance when she was refused access to him at at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Cook County where he was hospitalized while in police custody. In a bond hearing that day, he and Eric were ordered to be held without bail.
