To all the mermaids and barefoot wanderers in Luzon, I have a good news for you! No need to go to Batangas for a freediving adventure. Here's a freediving resort in Pangasinan to look out for!
Aquaholics Freediving — the very first freediving school/group to ever start in the province of Pangasinan is very proud to present their headquarters located in Bani, Pangasinan. Read more about Aquaholics Freediving here.
FYI, freediving dreams for people living in the North was a bit difficult to achieve because of the location. In other words, it wasn't very accessible. That was my problem too way back 2 years ago. I had to travel all the way to Batangas just to experience and learn freediving.
Why Is There No Freediving Schools In Pangasinan?
Honestly I can understand why there are no freediving schools in Pangasinan. It's because Pangasinan's beach features isn't ideal for freedivers. For instance, the beaches have either (A) long and wide shallow shores and (B) the changing patterns of the tides due to the province is located in the West Philippine sea.
Although Pangasinan beaches are beautiful and perfect for vacations but it will only be enticing for beachacholics and not to freedivers. As a result, it is difficult to find a training ground that has calm seas and doesn't need to take a boat ride to go to the dive spot.

FDB Cabana is a resort that initially caters to nearby locals/tourists in municipality of Bani. After it was discovered by 2 of the founders of Aquaholics Freediving last February 2021, it was then turned into Aquaholics' main headquarters.
