If there's one of the things that I will not staying up late, this was it. Waiting for the release of Ben & Ben's sophomore album. Finally, it's out! Needless to say, they're great at what they're passionate about. To their collaborations as a band and to other OPM musicians, not just a big deal but it's way beyond. Each track has something to say. It's been on my repeat loop at the moment. The lyrics are simple but it awakens your being not just a human vulnerable to constructs but a citizen with voice enough to resonate what you wanted to speak.
As a woman, Sabel caught me right away.
As a citizen, Kapangyarihan held me that chorus and bars.
As a human vulnerable to life's predicament, Swimming pool soaked me. Lunod will rescue you from drowning. Elyu wants you to let waves wash away the caged thoughts. Sugat wants you to surrender and be healed. Kasayaw will let you know that dancing takes two person to do but sometimes you just need dance life on your own. There's much more to this album I believe.
