Junxia Li, 52, of Lake Wales, Polk County, Florida, United States was recently arrested by the Polk Count Sheriff's Office. She was charged with committing lewd acts.
On August 10, 2021, Polk County Sheriff's Office detectives conducted an undercover operation identifying possible human trafficking victims and possible illegal massage parlor operations at the I-Spa in Dundee, Polk County, which is owned by Li. She allegedly grabbed the groin of one of the detectives during the operation.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office did not find evidence or information to prove that Li is a victim of human trafficking. She was booked into the Polk County Jail in Bartow, Polk County and was later released after posting a $250 bond.
"Illicit massage businesses can be hotbeds for human trafficking," Polk County sheriff Grady Judd stated. "Some people working in them are brought to our country with the promise of a better life but that's not what they get. We will work hard to keep human trafficking out of Polk County by continually checking these types of businesses."
