FILIPINO Jenelyn Olsim goes after the hider of Thai-American Grace Cleveland this Friday in a historic all-female card One: Empower at the Singapore Stadium.

Olsim will only have a week's rest heading into her duel with Cleveland, but is expected to be all fired up from her unanimous decision over Vietnamese Bi Nguyen in the One: Battleground 3 last Friday also in Singapore.

Team Lakay head coach Mark Sangiao expressed satisfaction after Olsim, 24, beat Bi Nguyen, telling an online news conference that his ward showed a lot of improvement.

But Sangiao said he expects the atomweight fight against Cleveland to be more difficult.

"I hope she competes in the finals because every time she gets closer, her improvement keeps showing and that's her advantage," Sangiao said. "She's very eager to learn and her preparation is now 95 percent."

Olsim (5-2 win-loss) said she was motivated against Bi but wants to become a better fighter especially on her technical game and wrestling skills.

"I'm really motivated after my fight with Nguyen but we need to prepare well for Cleveland,"  she said.

Olsim banked on impeccable striking skills, particularly punching and counter-punching, in beating Bi in the three-round fight.
