TNT KATROPA stayed undefeated in three games that served as a perfect gift to Chot Reyes' 58th birthday, while Rain or Shine finally halted a two-game losing streak on Sunday in Season 46 Philippine Basketball Association Philippine Cup at the Ynares Arena in Pasig City.

Jeth Troy Rosario scored 10 of his 15 points in the payoff period in addition to his eight rebounds as the KaTropa erased a double-digit deficit on the way to an 84-80 come-from-behind victory against Phoenix Super LPG and advanced to solo second.

"I thought Phoenix came in with an excellent game plan," Reyes, the former national coach, said. "They prepared against us really well, they knew exactly how we wanted to do things, and we started the game really, really flat. So credit to the way Phoenix prepared for us."

Roger Pogoy posted 13 points while Jayson Castro tallied 10 points, five rebounds and nine assists also for TNT.

Phoenix was able to bury TNT to an 8-24 hole in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to its lead. The Fuel Masters even had a 77-70 lead in the last quarter, before Rosario took charge unleashing a 14-3 run to finally secure the advantage, 80-77, down the stretch.

Phoenix couldn't get back, losing back-to-back games to fall to a 1-4 win-loss record.

Matthew Wright scattered 15 points and five rebounds, but made seven turnovers for the Fuel Masters.

Rain or Shine, meanwhile, stopped a two-game losing skid after beating a winless Terrafirma side, 83-77, for a 4-2 record. Rey Nambatac was back in his element, scoring 17 points, while Adrian Wong and veteran Gabe Norwood were both in the zone with 15 points each.

The Dyip played only with nine players after top rookie pick Joshua Munzon (dislocated finger), Rashawn McCarthy (leg), Reden Celda (knee), Christian Balasagay (knee) and Gelo Alolino (knee) were all on the injured list.

Roosevelt Adams scored 13 points and got 16 rebounds to lead Terrafirma.
