Professional Fighters League

The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has partnered with VersusGame, a mobile platform where users can profit off pop culture predictions and events through interactive, user-generated games. This will deliver a new category in the gaming economy to mixed martial arts fans.

The partnership's games are now live and will be available for the two remaining 2021 PFL semifinal events airing live in primetime across ESPN networks and streaming platforms. The league has launched new channels on the platform with regular live games featured around the league's events and content that will allow fans to capitalize on their knowledge of the league and the sport of MMA.

Kayla Harrison and Genah Fabian will headline "PFL 8: 2021 Playoffs" on August 19, 2021 while Brendan Loughnane and Movlid Khaybulaev will headline "PFL 9: 2021 Playoffs" on August 27, 2021. Both events will take place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, United States.

"As PFL continues its thrilling playoff slate with two more win-or-go-home events, we're excited to partner with an innovative company like VersusGame who shares our commitment to deliver unique fan engagement experiences," PFL chief executive officer Peter Murray said. "Fans can take advantage of the new products immediately with our women's lightweight and heavyweight semifinal event tonight, live in primetime on ESPN and the network's streaming platforms."

Users will be able to challenge PFL fighters and commentators including Hall of Famer and legendary fighter Randy Couture and popular MMA personality Kenny Florian on the app, which can be accessed in the iOS App Store and at VersusGame.com. Games will include opportunities to predict outcomes such as "Who will make it to the championship?" between Harrison and Fabian.

"At VersusGame, we partner with companies and organizations that prioritize their community, and as one of the fastest growing sports leagues, the PFL has proven their commitment to doing just that," VersusGame CEO John Vitti said. "An innovative leader in the sports and MMA world, the PFL is the perfect partner for us at VersusGame as we continue to strive towards being the most innovative and impactful product on the market for consumers."

"With PFL bringing high quality exclusive content to users on our platform, we are so excited for fans to experience, play along and monetize on PFL fights and initiatives," Vitti continued. "We couldn't be more excited about this new collaboration."
