The Zamboanga City Medical Center (ZCMC) is warning the public versus fake Real Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test as they already received five reports of fake RT PCR coming from ZCMC.
In a ZCMC Public affairs and Customer Care Unit (PAACU), Facebook post said, "ZCMC would like to inform the Public that we have received information from other institutions and tourism office that there are individuals who are faking the RT-PCR results of ZCMC."
They used these fake RT-PCR result to cross local borders, for job application and as clearance for admission.
Because of this, the hospital is currently conducting an investigation and have already informed the authorities.
"We assure the public that we have already installed some security features on our RT-PCR results in order to avoid occurrence of the same incident." The management said.

RT-PCR test is the gold standard for Covid-19 testing. It is being asked by local government units before passengers can enter their place.
