Panday Bayanihan is inspired by Fernando Poe Jr.'s famous movie "Ang Panday". In addition, Panday means "to forge or build" and Bayanihan refers to the spirit of community action inherent among Filipinos. Their goal is to build the spirit of Bayanihan among Filipinos and to channel it towards those in need.

FPJ Panday Bayanihan initiative started in 2013 when Typhoon Maring battered the country for days. Our organization came together to provide relief packs to those affected by the calamity.

FPJ Panday Bayanihan group has continued to conduct relief operations during times of disasters since then. From Typhoon Yolanda, the Marawi siege, as well as the more recent Taal Volcano eruption, the Panday Bayanihan team was there to help.

Currently, Panday Bayanihan is at the forefront of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the community quarantine started in March 2020, we continue to provide relief goods and personal protective equipment across the country through the generosity of people from all walks of life who continue to donate to our cause.
