I discovered this a few days ago in Google Earth. This is probably the most isolated barrio in Filipinas. And to think that it's just a five- or six-hour drive from Metro Manila. There's no more community nearby for several miles around. It's totally surrounded by thick forest. And the best part of it is that it's situated more than 1,300 feet above sea level. For sure, it gets foggy and chilly here during nightfall and early morn. And yes, swarms of fireflies are not impossible! This tiny yet idyllic barrio is located within Region III (Central Luzón). But I won't tell you where it is, hehehe! If I ever win the lottery, I'd love to live here with my family for good. Pero sana may Internet. Clue: this place is located in a province which used to be a part of Region IV. So yes, the people here speak Tagálog. 😉
