MANILA -- Last September 30, 2021, under the Port of NAIA's Performance Governance System, Values Transformation Program (PGS- VTP) Virtual Team Building on Holistic Well-Being was launched via Zoom.

The virtual program focused on honing one's holistic well-being by promoting balanced work ethics, values, faith, mental and physical fitness through lectures and activities.

Attended by over 55 OSM Representatives  of the port, the program encouraged camaraderie, engagement and reflection through dynamic talks from resource speakers Elizabeth Pableo, PhD and Fr. Kali Pietre Llamado.

Leading the discussion on leadership, Dr. Elizabeth Pableo tackled discussions on how leaders can rediscover their priorities, learn about the importance of gratitude in a leader, and incorporate family values in the workplace. On the other hand, Fr. Llamado emphasized the importance of strengthening one's faith specially during times of difficulties and how leaders can inspire faithfulness.

For her part, Port of NAIA District Collector, Carmelita M. Talusan, shared her presentation reflecting the importance of a well-rounded well being  and stressed the need to balance mental and physical fitness in the day to day 24/7 operations of the Port.

Participants' motivated and positive reflections were showcased through interactive breakout room activities and group presentations.

The Bureau of Customs Port of NAIA with the guidance and directives of BOC Commissioner Rey Leonardo B. Guerrero, will continue to strengthen internal and human resources development as the men and women of the Port balance their day to day tasks on revenue collection, trade facilitation and border control
