Further strengthening of the Republic, will help in the rapid recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

That is what Governor Daniel R. Fernando said, when he presided over the simple celebration of the 123rd Anniversary of the Inauguration of the First Republic of the Philippines, held on the patio of the historic Barasoain church in Malolos city.

He also said that the priority of raising the level of basic government services and programs, is an element to further strengthen the Republic's priority.

As a contribution of Bulacan, the governor now announced the best way to strengthen the health system.

The target for 2022, is to have a brand new Magnetic Resonance Imaging and establish the Department of Ophthalmology at Bulacan Medical Center.

In the economic field, the priority is to continue to increase food production so we will focus on agriculture through the distribution of more machinery, free seeds and fertilizer and the re -breeding of pigs without African Swine Fever.

The Capitol also seeks to at the same time help those who have lost or stopped working, provide opportunities for out-of-school youth to find employment, through more rigorous technical education courses and trainings with the help of Technical Education and Skills Development Authority.

Aspects of uplifting and strengthening the Republic also include the return of face-to-face classes.

Therefore, Fernando emphasized that only students who are fully vaccinated, will be going back to regular school set-up.

In this regard, Malolos City Mayor Gilbert Gatchalian, believes that the goals set by the governor will be more successful through genuine unity from various sectors and serious compliance with applicable laws, especially with health protocols.
