Michelle Dee to join Miss Universe Philippines

"If looks could kill, you're dead," on Instagram, the actress and Miss World Philippines 2019 said included the hashtag #DEEpataposanglaban.
The post received comments from excited friends and fans cheering for Michelle. Among them was Miss World Philippines 2018 Katarina Rodriguez, who replied with "omg" and fire emojis.
Michelle also reshared on Instagram stories several posts which hinted at her possible inclusion to the Miss Universe Philippines pageant.
Some of the posts made by fans showed screen shots of her profile page on the Kumu app. According to Miss Universe Philippines, the platform will be used as part of its selection process.
As of press time, no official announcement has been made regarding Michelle's participation.
Miss Universe Philippines started accepting applicants on the first day of February. The new queen will be crowned on April 30.
The Miss Universe Philippines organization is now accepting applications for the next set of queens!
The announcement was made on social media, Tuesday, with a list of qualifications for aspiring beauties to start their "queendom."
Applicants should be at least 18 and under 28 years old on the Miss Universe Philippines coronation night on April 30.
They should also be Filipino citizen with Philippine passport and a female who's never been married or pregnant. Just like last year, there's no height requirement.
"Follow the footsteps of your favorite Miss Universe Philippines queens and start a queendom of your own!" the caption read.
To send in your applications, simply fill out the application form on the organization's Instagram bio and send it to contact@missuniverseph.com.
The application period will run until Feb. 15 at 11:59 in the evening.
The reigning Miss Universe Philippines is Beatrice Luigi Gomez, who finished on Top 5 in the international pageant held in December.
