Can Foreigners tourists travel to the Philippines?
Yes, you are finally welcome again after a long time. foreigners that fully vaccinated from a Non-Visa country required country can enter the Philippines. They started last month February 10,2022, you need to provide a Negative RT-PCR test result taken within 48hours before you departed from your country of origin.
Is it safe to travel the Philippines now?
Yes, it is very safe. the national government and local government have their safety protocols in public places to minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus. these include wearing the masks all the time in public places, social distancing, and reminders to always bring with you your Vaccination card or vaccination certificate because there is some establishment that before you enter they will check the vaccine card or vaccine certificate, they don't allow the nonvaccinated to enter the establishment.
Tourist attractions is safe now to visit, if your crossing local boarder always make sure to bring your negative COVID-19 RT-PCR Test result and the Vaccination Card or Vaccination certificate.
Requirements that foreigners required to present to enter the Philippines:
Travel to the Philippines without a Visa is restricted.
Passport that is valid for at least 6months at the time of travel.
Outbound tickets to their origin country or next country of destination.
Proof of your fully vaccinated status of COVID-19 Vaccine. These are the following.
An International Certificate of Vaccination ( ICV ) from the world health organization.
VaxCertPH digital vaccination certificate.
The national digital certificate of the foreign government where they were vaccinated has been accepted by VaxCertPH under a reciprocal arrangement.
Other proof of vaccination permitted by IATF.
Fully Vaccinated Travelers NO LONGER need to quarantine, but will required to self monitor for any COVID-19 signs and symptoms for 7 days. Any sign or symptoms must be reported to the local government of your destination.
Upon Arrival:
Proceed to the One-Stop holding area for a briefing on health and safety protocols.
Present your OHP QR CODE at the DOT help desk.
Proceed to the bureau of immigration for arrival clearance than to baggage claim and customs inspection.
ALWAYS REMEMBER COVID-19 IS STILL AROUND SO TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND FOLLOW THE RULES AND PROTOCOLS.
