Life is never fair. Your goal should be to earn more than what you need not for your selfish desires. Earn more so that you can use the excess to uplift others who have less.
Stop telling people, "don't give money to street children!" If you can buy cigarettes, beer or coffee at Starbucks, spending a few bucks to buy what they are selling or giving them few coins or food will not hurt your pocket.
