MANILA, Philippines — The outgoing Vice President, Leni Robredo, proudly shared that her second-born Daughter, Dr. Tricia Robredo, got accepted into the Harvard Medical School Master of Medical Sciences in Global Health Delivery.
According to VP Leni's post, Tricia had to postpone getting into a Residency Program twice when she helped her mom in the Office of the Vice President during the height of COVID-19 and the 2022 presidential campaign.
"After passing the Medical Boards, Tricia had to postpone getting into a Residency Program twice. The first one was when I asked her to help us out with our Covid Response Operations. When our Covid situation got a little better, she planned on starting her Residency in January 2022. When I suddenly decided to run in October 2021, she felt I would need her in the campaign and decided to forgo it the second time."

"Since she became a licensed doctor, and while helping me on the side, she has been consistently doing hospital work as an ER Doctor and also doing clinical work. But, aside from these, she has also immersed herself in several public health projects and had a deeper understanding of how health care is delivered to our communities.," Robredo added in her post showing the letter from Harvard University.
Robredo also revealed that Tricia applied at the prestigious university "suntok sa buwan" (Hope for nothing), and they are grateful and blessed that she got accepted.
In 2018, Robredo's eldest Aika graduated from Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government as an Edward S. Mason Fellow for the Mid-Career Master in Public Administration program, the same program Aika's late father, interior secretary Jesse Robredo had taken in 1999.
