New EPD chief Bearis congratulations

POLICE Brig. Gen. Jerry Bearis officially assumed Eastern Police District (EPD) post replacing Brig. Gen. Orlando Yebra Jr., who retired from the police service earlier.
Bearis, who is a member of the Philippine National Police Academy Class of 1993, was described by Metro Manila police chief Maj. Gen. Felipe Natividad as a "seasoned investigator, operative and administrator."
As chief of EPD, Bearis has supervision over police stations Mandaluyong, Marikina, Pasig and San Juan. At least 2,600 police officers are assigned at the EPD.
Bearis previously headed regional staff of the National Capital Region Police Office. He also served as deputy director for administration at EPD as well as the Police Security and Protection Group.
