The Department of Health (DOH) on Saturday logged 2,565 new COVID-19 infections, bringing the nationwide caseload to 3,872,405.
Active cases, meanwhile, went down to 29,807 from 31,615 on Friday.
The National Capital Region reported the highest number of new cases in the last two weeks with 11,992, followed by Calabarzon with 6,289, Central Luzon with 4,043, Western Visayas with 2,103, and the Cagayan Valley with 1,661.
A total of 4,183 individuals were added to the recovery tally, which now stands at 3,780,985, while 54 new fatalities pushed the death toll to 61,613.
The country's bed occupancy rate was 28.1% as of Friday: 8,188 beds were occupied, while 20,958 were vacant.
A total of 21,057 individuals were tested on Friday, while 331 testing laboratories submitted data. --VBL, GMA News
