One of the hotels we stayed at when we were in Boracay is Movenpick Resort and Spa. Located in what they call Station Zero in Boracay, along with Shangri-la and Crimson hotel, they are located in a place where it's calm and secluded. Supposedly we should be staying in Hennan Crystal Sand but there were some glitches in processing the card so we booked another one which was Movenpick.
When we arrived in Movenpick we fetched first one of my friends that came ahead before us and then took a motorcycle going there. You can arrange actually either from the hotel or from the airline your transportation going to the hotel once you land. In our case, we took an add-on from Cebu Pacific, it's called CEB Transfers but our route was to the hotel of our friend.
Movenpick is one of the hotels under Accor Live Limitless (ALL) and Movenpick is under their Premium category of hotels along with Hyde, Grand Mercure, The Sebel, Admiral Hotel Manila, etcetera.
We booked 2 of their Classic Queen Rooms, it's a 27 sqm room inspired by Boracay's vibrant spirit for a total of Php 26, 840 for 2 nights. Besides Classic Queen they also have Classic Twin, Superior King, Sea View of Superior King, Premium King, and SuperiorTwin for those who want to wake up seeing the beautiful sea of Boracay, as well as Family Room, Junior Suite King, Premium Suite King, Sol Marina Beach Suite, and Sol Marina Villa for extra space and features such as bathtub, living room, private pool, kitchenette, and dining area.
The only comment that we weren't pleased with was the very late check-in, I'm not sure if there's a problem with their booking integration with Booking.com and other booking sites such as Agoda but so far this is what I noticed. It seems like they were not prepared that they have guests coming at that date after all the booking was paid already so regardless if the guest will show up or not it should be a default that rooms are prepared after the previous guests checked out. Their check-out time is 12 noon from the previous guests while check-in is 2:00 in the afternoon; that means they have 2 hours of preparation.
We haven't tried their chocolate hour every afternoon because we were busy exploring the busiest part of Boracay which are Station 1 to Station 3 but the Chocolate hour is a complimentary hour for all of their guest who loves chocolate. But we had fresh-out-of-the-oven pizza as a snack in one of their restaurants/cafes inside the resort called Brezza, other cafes or restos are Fun Pub, Sol Marina Beach Club, Ssäm, The Cafe, and The Market where their daily breakfast buffet is held.
Movenpick Boracay has a Multi-Level Pool, Swim-up bar, and Pool bar all have a great view of Boracay's ocean and lush gardens perfect for basking in the sun and chilling out.
If you want to relax too and enjoy a little luxury in life while in Boracay, you can try Movenpick Boracay Resort and Spa, they are located at Punta Bunga Cove Barangay Yapak.
