Actress Bea Alonzo admitted that she still gets affected by what the bashers are throwing at her; saying that she is just a human being after all.
"Siyempre hindi ako magiging ipokrita. Sometimes, nasasaktan ako. Kasi, tao lang ako, e. Kasi, di ba, sometimes they just say things. Hindi nila naiisip na tao ako. Tao yung pinagsasabihan nila. May emosyon, nasasaktan," the star of the Philippine remake of Start-Up told PEP.

Bea also said that instead of shaking it off, she allows herself to get hurt and go through the process. "Ganoon talaga ang buhay," she said.
However, she only chooses to take in criticisms that are meant to help her grow and improve.
"Because there are things na hindi mo naman kailangan sa buhay mo. In fact, baka makasama pa sa iyo. You don't want to dwell on that kind of energy. But yung criticisms na nanggagaling sa mga tao na alam ko that they love me, mga fans ko. And actually, comfortable sila to say kapag may hindi sila nagugustuhan sa projects ko or sa relationship ko. I know they love me and they say it in their most loving ways. And I understand it," she said.

"Kasi, hindi naman ako perpekto. Marami rin akong pagkakamali. Meron din akong mga bagay na hindi ako magaling and okay lang iyon. With bashing, ayaw mo naman kasi na makaapekto yun sa energy mo. I always try protecting my energy."
Bea has been receiving criticism from entertainment columnist Lolit Solis.

In her latest post against Bea, Lolit said she believes that the actress is lucky that Alden Richards agreed to be paired with her.
"No matter kung ano pa sabihin, basta wala ng ningning si Bea Alonzo. Suwerte siya at pumayag si Alden Richards na mag partner sa kanya."
The actress has yet to comment on Lolit's tirades against her.
