SM Lanang Premier lighted its 55-foot Christmas tree to bring joyful splendor to shoppers from October 21 until December and just as its Christmas montage is ginormous, its charitable spirit is also as enormous.
Bears of Joy for Tambayan Center for Children's Rights
Every Christmas, SM Lanang Premier partners with a cause-oriented organization to share the joy of Christmas with children through the nationwide Bears of Joy campaign of SM Supermalls. This year, the children beneficiaries being served by the Tambayan Center for Children's Rights, a non-profit, non-government organization based in Davao City, will receive the stuffed bears collected through the campaign.
Curious how you can spread happiness to children through this project? The drill is simple. One only needs to buy a stuffed bear from the Bears of Joy booth located at the Atrium, Upper Ground Level (beside Green Bounty). For every stuffed bear that a shopper buys, another child will be happy. By purchasing a Bear of Joy for yourself or a loved one, another kid will be gifted with a stuffed bear. In 2021, SM Lanang Premier turned over Bears of Joy to the SOS Children's Village to spread happiness to children.
100 Days to Christmas with the Philippine Eagle Foundation
As the countdown to Christmas began this year, SM Lanang Premier chose the Philippine Eagle Foundation (PEF) as its partner in the 100 Days to Christmas campaign where the latter was provided with a free booth and space at the mall. Through this project, PEF will be able to raise additional funds to support its conservation initiatives by selling merch to shoppers. Their booth is located on the 2nd floor fronting Tasty and will be available until December 15, 2022.
