MANILA, Philippines — The Walt Disney Company (Southeast Asia) Ltd. announced on Wednesday that it would bring its highly awaited streaming service, Disney+, to the Philippines beginning on November 17, 2022.
Users in the Philippines will soon be able to use a streaming platform that has global, regional, and Asian language content of Disney Classics and recent series and films; Marvel Cinematic Universe blockbusters; award-winning Pixar animation; and Korean programming with BTS and other top Asian stars under the Star brand.
According to David Shin, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, of Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, The Walt Disney Company, they are excited that Filipino consumers "can soon enjoy access to some of the world's most original and iconic stories, told by the world's most talented creators."
"Through Disney+, we are opening new doors of entertainment to everyone with our heritage of unparalleled storytelling, creative excellence, and cutting-edge content delivery."

The Disney+ streaming service offers a new range of subscription plans that will offer viewers flexibility with different subscription options to suit their needs. The Mobile Plan will cost ₱159 monthly or ₱1,150 annually, and a Premium Plan will be ₱369 monthly or ₱2,950 annually.
