Kapamilya host Melai Cantiveros expressed her gratitude to netizens who showed their appreciation for her eldest daughter Mela.
A clip of an overjoyed Mela thanking her Mom Melai for preparing her favorite food -- chicken nuggets -- went viral recently, with a netizen even turning it into a song remix.
"Mama, thank you very much. You know that I love chicken nuggets," Mela can be heard saying.
Melai also shared a video of her daughter dancing to the edited song. "Hahahhaahahha tawang tawa ako bilang nanay at xmpre Thank you very much @jmko_music sa pa music mu at Thank you dn sa mga netizens tawang tawa ako bakit nagkaroon na ng kanta," she said in an Instagram post.
"So hayan sinayaw na ni Melai 2 kasi si Stela si Melai 3. Iba kayu mag interpret mga netizens pati ako nalito nga hahahhahahah Char lang heeheheheh."
She added that Mela was delighted to know that her viral line has been turned into a song. "Hayan na nga Game na Game cyang sumayaw at nahappy cya na ginawang kanta ang ka OAhan nya."
Her message to the netizens: "Sa mga natuwa kay Ate Mela thank you, sa mga nainis apir tayu. Nakakagigil nadn ang reaction nya kasi."
Meanwhile, netizens commented that Mela got Melai's energy and joked that the child is ready to replace her.
"Te Melai may kapalit ka na po. Cute po ng anak mo," one netizen said.
"Ang cute. Nagmana yung kilos sa Mommy eh," another pointed out.
Netizens also said that Mela, indeed, is a talented kid.
"Talented naman momshie mels ang bagets mo, lalo na c ate mela."
"Nakakatawa. Grabe ang talented ni mela, aside sa magaling kumanta, pati dancing ala kpop din. Plus magaling pa mag model2x at mag drama2x. Jason kaya pa ba sa 3 melai mo?"
