The Department of Health (DOH) on Friday reported 776 new cases, while the number of active infections fell to 18,085.
The active tally increased from 18,392 on Thursday as new cases pushed the total caseload to 4,007,318.
The National Capital Region logged the highest number of new cases in the last two weeks with 3,559, followed by Calabarzon with 2,188, Western Visayas with 1,472, Central Luzon with 1,243, and Central Visayas with 866.
The DOH said the recovery tally increased to 3,925,022, while the death toll climbed to 64,211.
As of Thursday, the country's bed occupancy rate was 25.1%, with 7,109 occupied and 21,215 vacant beds.
A total of 13,284 individuals were tested on Thursday, while 343 testing laboratories submitted data. -- VBL, GMA Integrated News
