The Department of Health (DOH) on Tuesday reported 801 new COVID-19 infections, after five days straight more than 1,000 new COVID-19 infections a day.
The new infections pushed the nationwide caseload to 4,035,487, while active cases have dropped to 18,250 from 18,507 the day before.
In the past two weeks, the National Capital Region (NCR) recorded the highest number of COVID-19 cases with 4,194, followed by Calabarzon with 1,917, Western Visayas with 1,121, Central Luzon with 1,051, and Central Visayas with 993.
Meanwhile, a total of 1,074 patients defeated the viral disease bringing the country's recovery tally to 3,952,617.
The death tally also went up to 64,620 with 12 new fatalities.
At least 11,837 individuals were tested, while 343 testing laboratories submitted data as of Monday, November 28.
The bed occupancy in the country stood at 23.4% with at least 6,589 beds occupied and 21,562 were vacant as of Sunday, November 27. -- Richa Noriega/BM, GMA Integrated News
