Judy Ann Santos Agoncillo wrote a message for her daughter Yohan who celebrated her 18th birthday recently.
In an Instagram post, Judy Ann looked back on the days when she was only praying for a child.
"18 years.. just like that, time does really fly fast my love… 24 years ago i started praying for a baby when i turn 26.. in the same year that i turned 26, God gave me you," she wrote.
The actress added that she is lucky to have Yohan who has taught her a lot in life. "And how lucky I am to have you... You taught me a lot.. and up until now mommy's still learning.. we grew up together.. literally.. and we are both blessed to have dad to guide and experience life and love with all our imperfections."
Judy Ann also vowed that whatever happens, they will always be there for Yohan.
"This we promise you.. life is tough my love.. friends come and go.. but, family.. is permanent.. wherever you wanna go.. whatever you want to be.. we will be here for you .. always and forever.. happy 18th our big buding.. we love you, with all of our hearts," she said.
Meanwhile, Yohan's dad Ryan Agoncillo shared a throwback photo of her. "Then and now," he wrote.
In an old interview, Juday admitted that Yohan has already asked about her biological mom.
"So, Yohan, at some point, palagi siyang nagtatanong, 'Do you know my mom?' 'What if I want to see her?' I always tell her, 'You just let me know when you want. If at some point, someday, you want to meet your biological parents, it's fine. We'll find a way," she narrated.
Juday admitted that although it hurts, she cannot take away her daughter's right to meet her biological parents eventually.
