Paolo Duterte, FPRRD visit loved ones' graveduring Vicente Duterte's death anniversary

DAVAO CITY — First Congressional District Representative Paolo Duterte and his father, former President Rodrigo R. Duterte, paid respects to the latter's parents' graves last week at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Davao City.

Paolo and FPRRD visited the former's grandparents and the latter's parents' Soledad, a teacher involved in socio-civic projects of her husband Vicente, the last governor of the undivided Davao, to commemorate the latter's death anniversary.

The father and son have seen lighting candles and offering prayers for their departed loved ones. It has been the tradition of the Duterte family to visit the grave of their loved ones during their respective death anniversaries and on their occasions.

Meanwhile, the lawmaker's staff distributed 1,000 food packs to families living near the wireless cemetery. Last November 1 and 2 (All Saints and All Souls Day), the First Congressional District Office distributed food packs in Barangay 8A.

According to the First Congressional District Office, the distribution of the food packs focused on the "poorest of the poor" to help the beneficiaries sustain the basic need of their families.
