Humility.
That what transpired to me recently. I attended an event in a community I belong. It was my first attending to the Wednesday Club and I could only recognize few familiar faces. We had our specific circle or group for intimate discussions, I am with the Singles. I went there with doubt to be honest but I didn't regret I came.
While each one of the group introduced and do their sharing, I listened. It's been a long while I have session like this. I barely knew them but the connection was like not new. Through out the session, the word humility stuck in me. It was a beautiful reminder.
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
Ephesians 4:2
For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.
Luke 14:11
When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.
Proverbs 11:12
Just in time for the Lenten Season, this is wonderful. A humble heart for this time to prepare for commemorating the death and resurrection of Jesus. I pray for a meaningful and refreshing Lenten season to everyone. May this also remind you that aside from being humble, God's love may be with you too.
Love,
A.
