Recognizing the importance of sustainable food production, Mega's newly-built plant features state-of-the-art equipment and facilities that remain true to Mega's vertically integrated process that provides Filipinos with affordable, nutritious, high-quality food products. The facility also incorporates green features, including a warehouse, a fishmeal plant with a zero-waste system, and cold storage facilities that are environmentally friendly with an installation of an energy-efficient lighting system to lower carbon footprint emissions.

Moreover, the facility will have an open-plant system that also includes educational and interactive spaces, aimed to offer many learning opportunities to Filipinos and support the local tourism of Batangas. The plant will also serve as the technological innovation and R&D hub of Mega Prime Foods Inc. where innovations in food manufacturing and best-in-class product expansions will begin, furthering the manufacturing plant's world-class qualities and cementing the Philippines as a place for globally-competitive, value-for-money food products.
