While well-known food franchises have taken the popularity in most cities in the Philippines, small yet creative cafes/ restaurants are the stand outs in Naga City. The local population supports local and small businesses which can relate more to their Bicolano taste buds.
Visiting Naga City for the first time, we asked our Nagueño friends for their top recommendations. We come up to 10 establishments where we had the opportunity to interview the owners and try their best selling menu. Here are Our Top 10 Cafes/ Restaurants in Naga City, Camarines Sur, Philippines (in no particular order)!
Disclaimer: Some of your top favorites may not be here. We hope to go back to Naga City soon to feature them as well. Some of the must recommends by our Naga friends which we failed to visit are Bob Marlin, Soledad Spanish, Biggs and Red Platter.
1.) Florenteazza

2.) Chef Doy's Gourmet Restaurant
Location: Cereza, Magsaysay Avenue, Naga City
Chef Doy's Gourmet Restaurant offers fusion, flairs and twists of Filipino Cuisine. One of our favorites is laing spring roll, batang batang pusit and sili ice cream. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)
3.) Chef Buster Cuisine
Location: Blumentritt, Naga City
Chef Buster Cuisine offers Pizza, Chicken, Beef, Beer, Sizzlers and Pasta. One element that we like about their food is their generous use of cheese. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)
4.) Chef Artist
Location: Zone 3, Brgy. Lerma, Naga City
Chef Artist offers good Filipino food with the taste of the world. The owners are both artists and chefs. Their restaurant has instagrammable interiors made of upcycled materials. One of our top favorites are their Laing and Mona Lisa meal. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)

Location: Naga City Subdivision, Naga City
Anselmo's is an Eat-All-You-Can buffet restaurant offering one of the best homecooked Bicolano favorites such as laing, bicol express and sinantolan. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)

Location: Solid St., Dayangdang, Naga City
