A year after their engagement on July 28, 2022, celebrity couple Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde have indeed tied the knot in the City of Pines.
Yes, their big day took place on July 28, 2023 and what better date than that - 7/28 - which turns out be such a momentous day on their calendar!

It was on that date year 2013 when Maine tweeted "Arjo cutie". It was on that date year 2018 when they first met during the story conference for their movie "Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles". It's not surprising anymore when Arjo chose that same date in 2022 to propose to Maine; hence it became their engagement date. Exactly a year after that, July 28, 2023, the two sealed their love in an intimate wedding!
And on this special day, Arjo shared his first Facebook post as Maine's husband via a poem "Cheers to Forever" as an expression of his happiness and his pledge to embrace their new journey as a married couple.
The last two stanzas are totally so 'kilig!'

A vow unyielding, never to break,
Through highs and lows, we'll persevere,

Thousands greeted the couple on their wedding day and more than 12K have shared Arjo's FB post. On the newly wed couple's Instagram accounts, more friends, fellow celebrities and followers expressed their congratulatory remarks and wishes over their new status.
Back in March, Arjo pledged once again his love for his then fiancee, saying: ""I will love you beyond this lifetime. Happy birthday, my fianceé. I love you today and always."
The couple had nearly five years of getting to know each other and it is no secret how the new bride is so loved by the Atayde family, especially the mom-in-law veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez; aka Jossette Campo-Atayde in real life.
Indeed, Arjo and Maine's forever has officially started. Congrats, lovebirds!
