Unboxing the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 by Digitaldavao.
Xiaomi Philippines held the Xiaomi Fan Festival in Davao City, with the Xiaomi Note 12 Series phones.
DigitalDavao was given the opportunity to test out the phone and here is our unboxing and first impression on the product.
The Redmi Note 12 boasts a main camera 48MP, f/1.8, (wide), 8MP, f/2.2, 120-degree (ultrawide), 2MP f/2.4, (macro) with Dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR and panorama, Selfie camera 13MP, f/2.5, (wide) with HDR. Thus the branding "LIVE-VIVID", it promises to produce vivid snaps every time.

The design is sleek and trendy. Edges and angles are so neat, it makes it feel like a flagship phone. Phone texture is not much of a fingerprint magnet.
Battery life is great! 5000mAh has to be a staple from the entry level up to the flagship or better, most have this feature on their flagship phones. This product even gets better as this is bundled with a 33W wired power brick which can charge up to 50% in 22 minutes as advertised.
Color variants are Frosted Green, Matte Black and Mystique Blue. The test unit lent to us was Mystique Blue and we found it "classy", gives the phone a professional look.
Price for the unit is really a sweet-spot. Priced at P8,999.00 this phone is definitely hard to beat at this price range. You get more than what you paid for with this product.
We tested the unit for some casual gaming and we found it to be struggling in this area. Diablo Immortal was one game title we tried and we got some artifacts display while playing. The game is playable though, just needed to lower the graphic settings of the game.
In conclusion, DigitalDavao finds the Redmi Note 12 a "bang for the buck deal" for its professional design, vivid camera, battery capacity and price point.
