"We hope this message finds you well and looking forward to celebrating Maine and Arjo's special day with everyone…we are writing to inform you about situation that has arisen and to kindly request your understanding and cooperation… you might be aware, there is an unexpected storm that we are experiencing at the moment…while couple is early anticipating sharing this momentous occasion with all of you, their top priority is safety and well-being of our guests and loved ones…due to storm's potential impact, we kindly request that all guests refrain from posting anything related to wedding on social media or other platforms during day of the event, "even before "TV Patrol" news anchor Noli de Castro took swipe at people getting married while typhoon was ravaging some parts of the country, actors Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde have already asked their guests to be "sensitive" to t "challenges and disruptions caused by weather" by refraining from posting on social media about wedding. They also encouraged their guests to donate to victims of all kinds of calamities in lieu of wedding presents.

According to message couple sent, request was made "to ensure that we remain sensitive to any challenges or disruptions caused by weather."
Wedding invitation sent to all guests included plea from couple's godparents or "ninongs" and "ninangs" to give donations to victims of all kinds of calamities and any other type of assistance to people more so in District 1 of Quezon City, which Arjo represents in Congress.
It can be recalled that in closing spiel of "TV Patrol" , day of Arjo and Maine's wedding, de Castro said there are people suffering while there are people who are getting married.
"Kayo habang kinakasal, kawawa naman 'yung mga binagyo," he said.
De Castrot hen drew criticism from Internet users, including one of Arjo and Maine's ninongs, Joey de Leon.
Newlywed couple Arjo Atayde and Maine Mendoza-Atayde are set to fly to Europe on official trip with former being Vice Chairman of Special Committee in the Congress on Creative Industry and Performing Arts on August 5,2023.
Celebrity couple will be attending 76th Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland after Atayde's action-packed thriller "Topakk" of Director Richard Somes was recognized anew by another international film institution.
"Topakk" was also cited by Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP).
"Me, Maine and rest of my family are so thankful to hear this announcement just few days before our wedding day," 32-year-old actor-politician said, adding he's elated to bring pride anew for Philippines film industry.
"I am so thrilled and excited together with my wife Maine to be recognized by Locarno Film Festival," added Atayde.
Last time film "Topakk" was recognized by international film industry in Cannes, France.
Despite fact that he will be on official trip from August 5 to 27,2023, Atayde will be working remotely while even he is away since his work in congress and in his district, among other venues, are endless.
"There's so many things to be done in congress and to my district…we cannot stop helping people more so in our district l," Atayde said, adding his family is already known for helping others for long time.
He is also tasked by Congress to visit also Filipino communities around area while in Europe after his wedding in Baguio City.
"Even before my special day or even day I became congressman of my district, we are already donating and helping a lot of typhoon or fire victims or anybody who need our help…our team in my district is always monitoring any calamity and any other assistance needed by people," he added.
"We never stop helping anyone even before."Meanwhile, the newlyweds have expressed their gratitude to all guests, especially their principal sponsors not only for inspiring them to become good role models but also for weathering storm just to attend wedding.
