Ineng soon to be real storm – PAGASA

Rain would continue to be experienced over parts of the country due to southwest monsoon.Tropical Depression Ineng is forecast to strengthen into tropical storm before it leaves Philippine area of responsibility tonight or tomorrow morning, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
PAGASA said Ineng was monitored 1,020 kilometers east of extreme Northern Luzon, packing maximum sustained winds of 45 kms per hour near center and gustiness of up to 55 kph.
Weather disturbance will remain far from Philippine landmass as it heads northeastward at 20 kph.
PAGASA said Ineng is slightly enhancing monsoon alongside Tropical Storm Hanna.
Monsoon will bring rains over Ilocos region and Zambales in next few days.
Monsoon rain will prevail over Bataan, Pangasinan and Zambales.
Metro Manila, Batangas, Benguet, Bulacan, Cavite, rest of Ilocos region, Occidental Mindoro, Pampanga and Rizal will experience occasional rain due to monsoon.
Weather system will bring scattered rainshowers over rest of Luzon.
Rest of the country may see isolated rain due to monsoon and localized thunderstorms.
Monsoon is expected to weaken within the week.
