Here's the best part. You can have it done at any Skinstation branch nationwide. It doesn't matter if you bought the package in a specific branch, you can still use your available sessions at ay Skinstation branch. So no reason for you to miss your next session even when you're out of town. About scheduling, you can easily book your schedule at the nearest Skinstation branch in your location by contacting them through Viber or email.
While it sounds convenient to have the advantage of getting your Diode sessions at any Skinstation branch, I still personally want to stick with my aesthetician whom I have developed comfortability with. Because let's be honest here, when you get Brazilian Hair Removal treatment you'll get all naked down under. Lol. And it's something I am not comfortable sharing with a different person every now and then.
Although it is advertised as painless hair removal, it's not. Lol. I guess what they are trying to say is the part of the process where they put frozen gel to purposely numb the area and you won't feel the heat coming from the device. Here's the catch, the frozen gel is the cause of the pain. Haha!
This is the perfect epitome of the famous colloquial expression "tiis ganda." As they say, no pain no gain! You just have to endure the frozen gel and after that you won't feel much of the laser's heat.
If I can rate the sessions I've been through since I started, it will be as follows: (10 as the highest)
1st Session (device heat level 6) - 4/10
2nd Session (device heat level 7) - 4/10
3rd Session (device heat level 8) - 6/10
4th Session (device heat level 9) - 8/10
5th Session (device heat level 10) - 9/10
6th Session (device heat level 11) - 9/10
7th Session (device heat level 12) - 10/10
PS: the divice level is until level 12 only. From 7th session and onwards, the device heat level will remain with 12 as the highest.
How Long Does it Take to See Results?
Results may vary from person to person. Factors affecting this includes: hair criteria, interval between sessions and your normal hair growth. This means if you're naturally hairy or you have very thin hair. You must also continue your sessions and adhere to the 6-8 weeks interval. Do not skip sessions if you want to an effective result.
I have a friend of mine who's only done 3 sessions of Diode Brazilian and the hair didn't grow back for months. It's cause she has very thin hair. In my case, I only saw visible results after my 5th session.
My Honest Review About Diode Hair Removal at Skinstation
I started my journey to achieving a hairless armpit and down under last November 2022. My lifestyle requires me to be in a bikini most of the time (travel & freediving). This is why an option of getting hair removal laser is definitely an INVESTMENT for me.
Price. When it comes to the price, it is very affordable! Especially when you book for a package of 10 sessions you'll get pretty big discounts. Although there are still some local clinics out there offering cheaper options like the ones I've tried, I would still prefer the service I got from Skinstation.
Environment & Service. The environment and service is superb. Love their store, the ambiance, facilities and staff. So far, I have not encountered any bad experience from Skinstation. So kudos to everyone! By the way, my current branch location is at SM Mall Dagupan and my aesthetician's name is Grace (say hi to her for me if you meet her!).
Effectiveness. Like I've said earlier, results vary from person to person. As for me, I have finished my 7th session and I can see lots of improvement with hair growth. Definitely effective!
