| sirmac Oct 16 | Minsan Pa Natin Hagkan ang Nakaraan is on its final week. And amid the happy life the couple are about to face, the third wheeler had begun his revenge. First aired on July 25 as part of the launch of TV5's Hapon Champion block, the remake of the 1983 hit film stars Cesar Montano and real-life couple Marco Gumabao and Cristine Reyes in the respective roles originally played by the late Eddie Garcia, Christopher de Leon and Vilma Santos. This marks the first team-up of Marco and Christine. The series will have a total of 65 episodes once it wraps up this Friday. TV5 & Viva managed to make their remake of Minsan Pa Natin Hagkan ang Nakaraan as enjoyable as the hit film as it was able to maintain its story in line with the modern settings. Marco Gumabao and Cristine Reyes gave a good account of themselves in playhing Rod and Helen respectively. Marco, who often bagged villain roles in the past, proved that he is no slouch in playing protagonist roles. Cesar Montano, whose villain roles are few and far between, embraced the role of Cenon very well. His return to weekday drama is worth the price of admission. It remains to be seen on whether Rod and Helen will fully escape from Cenon's wrath and continue with their happy ending. It is either Rod or Cenon who will prevail in Minsan Pa Natin Hagkan ang Nakaraan. | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
