Cabanatuan City, as one of the nation's chartered cities, stands at the forefront of the collective national drive for social and economic progress. Presently, the city's potential cannot be underestimated, given its substantial advancements across social, economic, physical, political, and cultural spheres. Here are some things you should try if you're gonna visit Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

1.) Staycation

We opted for the Top Star Hotel for our accommodation, conveniently situated along the highway. Its proximity to SM Cabanatuan made it an easily accessible choice. The staff were incredibly hospitable, and the room was impeccably clean. The comfortable, plush bed provided us with a truly relaxing and restful night's sleep. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)

2.) Food Trip

Exploring local cuisine is an essential part of any trip, right? During our time in Cabanatuan, we headed to Kapitan Pepe Subdivision, known as the food hub of Cabanatuan City. We visited Mamay's Restobar and indulged in their incredible dishes. Their menu offered authentic and unique items that were new to our taste buds, such as the Crispy Tenga (pig ears), Seafood Kare-Kare, Pinakbet, and Crispy Liempo. Coupled with the nostalgic and inviting ambiance of the place, it truly crafted a delightful and memorable experience for us. (Swipe below photo for more pictures)

3.) Mall

The top recommendation for a mall visit in this area is SM City Cabanatuan. It boasts a well-thought-out design, featuring expansive corridors and ample spaces for shoppers to navigate comfortably. The interiors are consistently pristine and well-kept, creating a pleasant and inviting ambiance. Additionally, each floor offers a pleasant, roomy outdoor area to enjoy. 4.) Visit their plaza

Plaza Lucero, recently renovated and situated at the core of Cabanatuan City, stands opposite the Saint Nicholas of Tolentine Parish Cathedral. This significant location marks the place where General Antonio Luna met his tragic end. While visiting, you can soak in the welcoming atmosphere and delve into a bit of historical knowledge amidst the plaza's surroundings.

5.) Pray at Saint Nicholas of Tolentine Parish Cathedral

6.) Ride your Next Bus Going to other Cities

Cabanatuan City houses the Central Terminal where you can ride your way to Baguio City, Baler, Dingalan, Cuba and other famous routes that you may know.
